We witness the awakening in the spring, the rearing of new queens, the nuptial flight of the virgin queens and the subsequent ban of bumblebees, the massacre of the males, the pollination, and then, little by little, with the coming of winter, the return to the great sleep.

This film is an epic story set in a tiny wooden box.
