Wolves have fascinated mankind for time immemorial and they are present in the oral traditions of most civilizations.

The way they were perceived changed and evolved depending on populations, beliefs, eras and historical events. Wolves were represented either as strong or weak, positive or negative, regal or devilish. That duality showed consistently in myths or legends over the centuries.

Mankind has rarely been so torn about an animal. Man and wolf have been fighting for territory for over 3,000 years, a conflict that continues to this day.
