Synopsis

On December 1, 2005, Franck Renard Payen discovered the body of Dominique Aubry hung in her barge near Paris.

He explained to the investigators that she had recently lost her husband, a wealthy art dealer, and that she had become depressed with suicidal tendencies. The circumstances corroborate this theory: no signs of struggle, with alcohol and high doses of drugs found in Dominique's blood.

But on that same evening, a notary calls the police to tell them about her will: the beneficiary is Franck, the spiritual son of the Aubry couple, for an amount of 15 million euros.
