After soccer, car rallying is Corsica's favorite sport, which is hardly surprising given the 7,400 kilometers of minor roads that crisscross the island, providing one of the world's most beautiful theaters for this sport.

The most emblematic competition is the Tour de Corse, first held in 1956. It featured in the elite calendar for over 40 years before being withdrawn.
