At first glance, the Camargue region is a wild land where bulls and horses roam freely amid thousands of pink flamingos. Yet, this unique landscape would not exist without man to shape the land.

With climate change, water is rising inexorably, salting a land that is at 70% at sea level.

These climatic changes threaten to make the Camargue what it was 2,000 years ago: an island.
