Synopsis

Karen's brother Tommy and sister-in-law Jonna move to Rungstedlund temporarily.

Karen receives a letter from the well-known American author Dorothy Canfield, who has shown her short stories to an enthusiastic publisher in America. When it is revealed to the family that Karen has contacted Canfield without Aunt Bess’ consent, disappointment sets in since Canfield is Bess’ close pen-pal.
