Synopsis

Concerned about potential criticism of her very un-Danish book, Karen is reluctant to publish it in her homeland. But well-known author Rørdam, who is enthusiastic about the book, eventually persuades her to publish it in Denmark.

However, Karen is not satisfied with Rørdam’s translation, as she does not think he understands the book’s many layers and humor.
