Synopsis

At nearly 3,400 meters in southeastern Peru lies the city of Cuzco.

Local legend says the children of Inti, the Sun God, were born from the foam of Lake Titicaca. Among them, the first Inca ruler is said to have founded the sacred city of Cuzco.

The former capital of the Empire of the Sun is the gateway to the Sacred Valley and the lost city of Machu Picchu.
