Synopsis

At an altitude of nearly 3,400 meters, in southeastern Peru, lies the city of Cuzco.

According to local legend, the children of Inti, the Sun God, were born from the foam of Lake Titicaca. Among them, the first Inca ruler is said to have founded the sacred city of Cuzco.

The former capital of the Empire of the Sun is the gateway to the Sacred Valley and the lost city of Machu Picchu.
