A member of the association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy since 2002, Militello in Val di Catania is part of the Baroque territory listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Years of work have helped enhance the town, particularly through investment in culture and natural wonders, such as the Oxena waterfalls, as well as the restoration and promotion of its castle and oldest neighborhoods.
