Synopsis

Only a few kilometers of water separate Calais from England. A trivial distance on a map, yet immense for these migrants who have already crossed continents, deserts, and borders.

This film explores the underground economy that thrives amid makeshift camps, smuggling networks, and increasingly risky crossings, as well as the dead end faced by these thousands of exiles for whom the English Channel has become the final obstacle.
