Synopsis

The Tankas have lived on the water for so long that no one knows when their history began. In China, however, many believe it is coming to an end.

On Hainan Island, the last inhabitants of the floating villages are witnessing the gradual disappearance of their ancestral way of life, in a race against time before their world is swallowed up.
