Synopsis

At Rebibbia, some of Italy’s most dangerous inmates spend their lives behind bars. Yet three times a week, some of them become kings, lovers, or tragic heroes.

Inside this maximum-security prison, a theatre company offers life-sentenced inmates an unexpected escape. For the duration of a performance, they are no longer defined by their crimes.
