Synopsis

Georges Bizet, the creator of “Carmen”, one of the most frequently performed operas in the world, remains, however, a surprisingly little-known composer.

This episode retraces the life of an artist torn between ambition and self-doubt, who died at just 36, convinced that his masterpiece was a failure.
