Synopsis
The Jordan valley, coveted and often invaded because of its fertility, is rich in history.
Once it accomodated ten cities all founded in the third century BC by the successors of Alexander the Great and then absorbed into the Roman empire.
Among them Gerasa is the most preserved. Its sumptuous ruins are a never ending source of findings for the archeologists.
