He has covered wars, infiltrated jails, shared the daily life of communities totally remote from society and rubbed shoulder with men and women studying the deadliest predators. Adrenaline is his fuel yet he never felt so vulnerable than when facing a Nile crocodile.
It is a formidable killing machines living in Botswana and responsible for over 2,000 deaths every year.
Vince Shacks is a scientist who don’t hesitate to risk his life to observe these dangerous predators up close by swimming next to them in the Okavango river. Bernie will be diving with him along side 5 meters long specimens in an effort to better understand their behavior. An indispensable task in order to make man and crocodile coexist.
