Synopsis

The habal-habal, a modified motorcycle that carries up to 11 passengers, has been an important fixture in the lives of communities within the mountains of Mindanao.

They can be found in Cabadbaran where roads were once too narrow and rough for cars.

But as the city’s economy is moving forward, land infrastructure is improving and the habal-habal is losing its relevance.
