Synopsis

In Burma, the Green Lotus association links local entrepreneurs with foreign companies to promote sustainable development in the country.

Misuu, nicknamed the "lady of the lake" and a close friend of Aung Sang Suu Kyi, aims to preserve lake Inle and its fish from overexposure to tourism.

Finally, a few kilometers from Yangon, Du Wan Khan has created a school of sustainable development on his farm where he teaches teens of different ethnic minorities how to become self-sufficient and live in a democracy.
