In China, the 1990s were a boom time. The generation born then has been dismissed as lazy, spoilt, and disappointing. Or are they?

We follow one of them as she leaves her middle-class upbringing to serve as a volunteer teacher in an impoverished village.

For someone who loves cleanliness, her cell phone, and good food amongst friends, how will she cope?
