Synopsis

May 11, 1995. Marc Van Beers, a 36-year-old Brussels tax lawyer, dies in a road accident while on honeymoon. His wife Aurore is unharmed. The case is quickly dismissed and Aurore returns home.

But her behavior intrigues Marc’s family. Why is the young woman in a hurry to sell her husband’s house?

Marc’s family files a complaint. The resulting autopsy reveals that the wounds from the crash were caused post-mortem.
