Synopsis

Jenilyn’s passion in life is to teach. She had to give up her own studies when her father’s business went bankrupt. That’s when she decided to become a teacher.

She found the perfect setting to fulfill her dreams with the Badjaos, a seafarers' community that keeps to itself instead of mingling with society. Some even prefer their children not to go to school so that they can stick to the fishing trade for the rest of their lives.
