Synopsis

Siti, from Singapore, is a voracious reader, but her parents do not have the time to take her to libraries or read to her. So, when Mini Molly arrives at Siti’s kindergarten, the 5-year-old relishes her time in the traveling library.

Meanwhile, in Indonesia, 17-year-old Fithri did not have the privilege of attending school or having books to read from an early age. She had to work in the fields since she was 6 and started schooling a few years later than her peers. However, Fithri caught on to her mum’s enthusiasm and passion for reading and today spends her time as a mentor to some of the younger children in her neighborhood.
