Synopsis

The International Space Station is the biggest and most complex scientific project in the history of humanity. A colossal platform of 450 tons that floats at 370 kilometers above our heads, this is a "space house" where people learn to live in zero gravity and attempt to understand our universe.

But the ISS is also an excellent research laboratory for more earthly matters like diseases, the ageing process or the environment. Despite being at such a distance from us, the International Space Station has some very concrete implications on our lives.
