Synopsis

On a summer evening, looking up at the starry sky and the immensity of the universe, all of us have at some point imagined what it would be like to go up there.

This idea has fascinated mankind for thousands of years. But only an elite has experienced space flight. Are these pioneers of a new frontier the first of a wave of immigrants into space?

Thanks to manned space missions, we now know that we can survive in such an alien environment. Nowadays, private companies offer space flights costing millions of dollars. But one day, will space be within reach to all of us? What form would this take? And how long could we remain up there?
