Synopsis

Greece is a country where the seismic risk is the highest in Europe, with 15,000 tremors a year. Even if they are mostly not felt, Greeks are anxious about "the Big One".

Every summer, forest fires burn tens of thousands of hectares of wood or houses. In 2007, the Peloponnese faced the worst wildfire of the last 50 years. Also, Greece doesn’t have enough water and especially on the islands. It is supplied by boat, but water is brackish and expensive.

Water, earth, and fire are the sources of drama in Greece.
