Synopsis

Made of 83 islands and 5 active volcanos, the Vanuatu archipelago regularly suffers from earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and cyclones.

On Ambryn island, which was partly devastated in 1913, a volcanologist checks on the craters, while in Port-Vila, the economic and administrative capital, the Warning Center analyzes the data to anticipate potential threats.

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of a small village of the Torres islands, isolated and hit by a tsunami in 1997, organized themselves.
