Synopsis
Romania and its 20 million inhabitants are facing a real climate crisis.
According to the UN, it is one of the European countries most exposed to natural disasters. Every year, torrential rains hit the country, causing increasingly violent floods. Seismic activity can also wreak havoc, as in 1977, when an earthquake killed 1,500 people.
