Synopsis

Since the Renaissance, the Auvergne region has been a land of beliefs, knowledge, and traditions.

Sophie touches the fever stone and the venom stone, which are supposed to have magical properties, and tries to understand where these superstitions come from. At the paper mill, she makes her own sheets with the same technique used by the master papermakers of the 16th century. Lastly, she learns to shape a strange cheese traditionally matured... with mites.
