Synopsis

In Mexico, the Voladores are "flying men" who perpetuate an Aztec tradition. They plunge more than 35 meters above the ground to honor the Sun God. In Cuetzalan, the city of sacred birds, Sophie meets Jorge Baltazar, a Volador master, who explains the mystical aspect of this ritual.

Sophie also meets wax and honey manufacturers who use Aztec techniques to shape altar candles.
