Synopsis

George Sand is one of the most romantic and scandalous characters of the 19th century.

A writer with a man’s name, George Sand, whose real name was Aurore Dupin, had only one goal: being as independent as a man, even if that meant upsetting her contemporaries. She wore a frock coat, smoked cigars, and had many lovers. But, when madly in love, she could become very feminine again. Her romances with the tortured poet Alfred de Musset and the wistful composer Frédéric Chopin were famous.

SECRETS OF HISTORY portrays a woman who paved the way for feminism.
