Synopsis

The small Trianon, in the park of the Palace of Versailles, was built under Louis XV for Madame de Pompadour and offered by Louis XVI to Marie-Antoinette, who longed for an intimate place to flee the royal court.

Devoted to afternoons of relaxation, this space includes a theater, French and English gardens, a bandstand, and the hamlet of the Queen, where she liked taking care of animals.
