Synopsis

Napoleon's relationships with women have seen many ups and downs. He married twice, first with Josephine de Beauharnais and then with Marie-Louise of Austria, who gave him a much-awaited son.

But other women also played an important role in the emperor's life, starting with his mother and later on, Marie Walewska, a Polish woman with whom he had a passionate romance.
