Synopsis

Fred takes us to Greece in Paris for some traditional dishes like taramosalata, keftas or choriatiki (Greek salad) to revisited kolokythokeftedes (zucchini fritters) and, of course, the best pita in the world. Fred meets truly kind-hearted people, full of greek philoxenia ("love of the stranger").

Fred then learns all about Malian cuisine thanks to Fatou who teaches him how to cook Tiep in her restaurant. His Parisian wanderings lead him to an african centre providing high-quality but inexpensive food, and even on a barge where a peculiar event is organized.
