Synopsis

In the 5th century, on swampy islands, families chased by barbarians created from scratch a city that would become one of the jewels of humanity: Venice.

Every marble palace, every canal that weaves through the city, and every bridge that spans over it, emerge from the lagoon as if from a dream.

The city of a thousand churches, built on millions of stilts, echoes the famous people who have been here: Marco Polo, Tintoretto, Vivaldi, Casanova... Their memory lives on in the alleys and squares, still vibrant with the stories that have taken place there.
