Synopsis

This journey takes us to a country which has known many years of colonization.

Starting in Colombo, from where several hundred tons of tea are exported every day, we trace the history of this old and sacred plant with ancestral virtues in an attempt to unravel its secrets.

On the high plateaus of this small island close to India, we learn the art of tea. Travelling by train, we wanders through plantations where the pickers' saris contrast with the green that stretches to infinity.
