Synopsis

South Africa is the cradle of humanity and, as such, holds the secrets of the origin of the human race. It was here that Little Foot, the oldest hominid fossil dating back 3.7 million years, was discovered.

Along the road that takes us from the north to the south of the country, from the suburbs of Johannesburg to the city of Cape Town, we meet the peoples who have inhabited these lands: the first humans who appeared in the Sterkfontein Caves, the mixed-race Hipsters in Cape Town, the hunter-gatherer peoples and the first white settlers.

Between authentic nature and civilization, we follow the trail of the incredible history of mankind.
