Synopsis

The desert is varied and closer than one might think. Human creativity has adapted civilized life to the most extreme conditions in Spain.

From south to north, this film shows how men have taken advantage of each desert's specificity. In the Canary Islands, the rocks from the volcanic desert allow for wine growing, while the Teide volcano is a gateway to the stars. The Tabernas desert in Andalusia is a giant film studio with one of the world's largest solar platforms.
