21 RUE DE LA BOETIE
The hunt for lost paintings
Art dealer Paul Rosenberg was a close acquaintance of Picasso, Matisse and other great painters.
He owned one of Europe’s greatest art galleries between the 2 world wars but was forced to flee Paris when the Nazis occupied the city. Upon his return after the liberation, he found his collection looted. He then dedicated the rest of his life to hunt down 400 lost paintings.
This highly insightful film looks back at his life and times.
