Synopsis
Between the Maroni River in the west, the Oyapock river in the east, and the tropical forest, the most prominent French national park is home to giant otters, sloths, legionnaire ants and yellow-rumped bird.
There are also inselbergs, and mysterious granite massifs, which are sources of legends, for these lands are inhabited by Amerindians, Bushinengue, and Creoles, who live in harmony with nature.
