Synopsis

The "Tapati Rapa Nui" festival is held every year during the first two weeks of February.

This major event, created in the 1970s, celebrates the culture of Easter Island in order to perpetuate ancestral customs.

For a fortnight, some 20 sporting and artistic activities set the pace on the island and attract tourists worldwide.
