Synopsis

The big media circus gives the leading roles to the most gossip-provoking actors of the story: a dashing company boss, secret agents turned mercenaries, a corrupt ex-socialist minister and his mistress.

But away from this glittering cast, one of the defendants tries hard to remain in the shadows. In fact, he is one of the key men in this affair, the one through whom oil money passed for years to benefit French political parties.

Thus, when he climbs the steps of the courthouse, the public discovers for the first time the face of André́ Tarallo.
