Synopsis

After the attack on December 17, 1973, at the Roma Fiumicino airport by a Palestinian commando, the Italian government concluded a secret agreement with the PFLP aimed at protecting the country from further attacks. Until today, no written record of this shameful deal can be found.

On August 2, 1980, a new attack at the Bologna railway station was attributed to far-right activists. In fact, it could be an act of Palestinian revenge following the breaking of the agreement when the Italian authorities blocked a shipment of missiles destined for the PFLP.

Even today, this extremely sensitive affair still has many shadowy areas.
