Synopsis

Following the fall of the Roman Empire, these peddlers of the Christian faith cultivated the image of the holy man who is a scholar-healer, an enlightened monk, and above all a guide who knows how to organize a spiritual world.

This ancient and increasingly misunderstood impetus is nonetheless alive and dynamic through the traditional ceremony of Forgiveness, which remains a ritual deeply rooted in the life of the community.
