Synopsis

To save or to perish is the motto of the Paris Fire Brigade (PFB), an elite corps of 8,500 men and women. The PFB intervenes in the chic districts of Paris as well as in the heated suburbs.

One of the most active brigades is stationed 4 km from Paris, where activity is at its peak all year round. This suburb of 100,000 inhabitants is ridden with poverty, precariousness, unemployment, and its share of violence.

This film follows the firefighters of this elite corps, from car accidents to personal rescue.
