Synopsis
In New Zealand, with many remote, inaccessible stretches of coastline and subtropical forest within its boundaries, the CODE 1 team must get to the scene fast when an accident happens, since most are "Status 1" callouts, which means the patient may not make it.
Our helicopter heroes have faced it all and risen to the task. These pilots, paramedics, winch crews, and paramedics willingly risk their lives daily to save others.
