Synopsis

In New Zealand, with many remote, inaccessible stretches of coastline and sub-tropical forest within its boundaries, when an accident happens, the CODE:1 team must get to the scene fast since most are “Status 1” callouts, which means there’s a high risk that the patient might not make it.

Our helicopter heroes have faced it all and risen to the task. These pilots, paramedics, winch crews, and paramedics willingly risk their lives daily to save others.
