Synopsis
The Polynesian people, especially the Maori, have long realized that the moon has an influence on the tides which in turn affect the fishing.
Nore Martin, who has been mentored by elders of his tribe, takes us on an entertaining and informative journey around some of the most beautiful and remote spots of New Zealand to test this rule.
The clue is that the best days by far occur from 6 to 9 days after the full moon. This is when the weather is perfect, and the big fish come biting.
