Synopsis

Perched on a hilltop in the Gers region, the Notre Dame de Boulaur Abbey lives to the rhythm of prayers and milking. Following the millenary Cistercian doctrine "Ora et Labora", the young community of nuns subsists thanks to its agricultural production and its dynamism.

Ecological issues and the demand for local products have given a second life to an austere spiritual tradition disconnected from the 21st century.

In this film, we discover the daily life of these young women who are very down to earth and yet live only to sing the praise of God.
