Synopsis

Ju Ae is about ten years old. She has been attending military parades alongside her father, Kim Jong-Un, already has a stamp bearing her likeness, and is present at missile launches.

The nuclear program is essential for the regime, which can thus convince its population and foreigners of the country's power. Kim Jong Un and his daughter regularly visit the nuclear facilities, which represent a family life insurance policy vis-à-vis the rest of the world.

The message is clear: for the Kim dynasty, North Korea is a family affair.
