Synopsis

November 1, 1992. Eric de Vriendt is victim of a road accident while riding his bicycle. Hospitalized in a serious condition, he receives daily visits from his girlfriend, Geneviève Montillet.

The search for the hit and run driver leads nowhere. In January 1993, just as the police officer is about to close the case, he receives a phone call from the insurance company asking for a copy of the report of the deadly accident involving Eric de Vriendt.

The problem is that the police had not been informed of the death...
