Synopsis

On January 9, 1975, Elise Meilhan, a 76-year-old pensioner, was found unconscious in her home and died after three weeks in a coma.

Before she passed, she accused Guy Mauvillain, an accountant with no history. Despite the lack of evidence and motive, the investigators close the case.

Guy Mauvillain spent six years behind bars. On June 29, 1985, the circuit court pronounced his acquittal. He had to wait ten years and four months to finally see his innocence recognized by the courts.
