Synopsis

The summer of 2018 was a tough season for first aiders and firefighters on the Basque coast.

The huge waves that delighted the surfers were, on the other hand, dreaded by the lifeguards who had to intervene constantly to prevent the often careless holidaymakers from drowning.

Meanwhile, there were numerous excesses on the mainland between the football World Cup, the 14th of July celebration, and the local fairs, not to mention the spectacular storms that caused the worst flooding of the year.
